Overview

The rivers, forests and mountains fill with the new joy when the spring returns to Himachal. The intricately woven number of races, sects and communities despite diversities have one thing in common; to welcome the visitors as one of their own.

Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi – Shimla

  • Guests arrive in Delhi. The guests commence their ride to Delhi which is 343 km long.
  • After reaching Shimla, once the Summer capital of the British, the guest check into the Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Shimla

  • After the breakfast, the guests commence their Shimla tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple, etc.
  • The Christ church which was built in 1850’s is famous for its architecture.
  • After the lunch, the guests are escorted to Kufri, which is a 30 mins drive from Shimla.
  • Kufri is an exotic place surrounded by thick forests and snow-capped mountains and virgin peaks.
  • The guests enjoy the hike in Kufri.
  • An overnight accommodation is arranged for the guest for the stay.

Day 3 - Shimla to Manali

  • After the breakfast, the guests will commence their 8-hour drive to Manali, The valley of Gods.
  • Shimla is a mixture of vibrantly rich cultural heritage and natural splendour. After the breakfast, guests are brought to Shimla, they check into the hotel.
  • The rest of the day is spent taking a stroll across the local market.
  • The guests return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 – Manali

  • After the breakfast, the Manali tour commences with the visit to prestigious Hadimba Devi Temple which is built in the picturesque and tranquil serene woods followed by Vashiishth Bath.
  • The guests then visit the famous Tibetan monasteries and the art gallery of the great Russian-born artist Nicholas Roerich.
  • After Lunch, the guests visit the Naggar castle. In the late evening, the guests visit the local market that sells the local art crafts, goods, sweaters etc.
  • The guests return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 5 – Manali

  • The full day tour of The famous Rohtang Pass (to be paid by the guests) is arranged for the interested tourists.
  • The Rohtang Pass offer majestic mountains and giant magnificent glaciers.
  • The guests can enjoy the sledge ride down the slopes and try trekking the small snow hills.
  • While descending Manali, the guests can visit the might Rahalla falls and Solang Valley that offer a spectacular view.
  • There are several other places to visit here like Nehru Kund, Marhi, etc.
  • The guests return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6 Manali – Dharamshala

  • After the breakfast, the guests are driven to Dharmashala. The check into the hotel in Dharamshala.
  • The Dharamshala tour commences with a visit to Baijnath Mandir, considered to be one of the oldest Shiva temples in India.
  • The guests then visit the War memorial, Kanga Art museum, Dally lake, McLeodjanj, St John’s Church, etc.
  • The guests are brought back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 Dharamshala – Dalhousie

  • Early morning after the breakfast, the guests commence their journey to Dalhousie which is about 4 hours long.
  • Dalhousie is located 2,039 and is on the outer slopes of the Douala Dhar range surrounded by exotic natural beauty.
  • After reaching Dalhousie, the guests check into the hotel and rest for the rest of the day.
  • The local markets offer miniature exotic art crafts. The guest can enjoy the shopping in the famous local market.

Day 8 Dalhousie

  • After breakfast, the day is spent on visiting the famous tourist spots. The guests are brought to Khajjar which 18 km from Dalhousie. The saucer-shaped plateau, surrounded by dense deodar and pine forests, has its beauty enhanced with a lake in the centre.
  • Khajjar has 9 hole golf course on a floating island. After completing the Khajjar tour the guests are driven back to the Hotel at Dalhousie for an overnight stay.

Day 9 – Dalhousie – Chandigarh

  • After the breakfast, the visitors check out from the hotel and commence their 6 and half hour journey to Chandigarh.
  • After reaching Chandigarh, the guests check into the hotel.
  • The tourists proceed to visit the local tourist locations like Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Pinjore Garden.
  • The guests return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 Chandigarh to Delhi

  • After the breakfast, the guests check out from the hotel and commence their journey from Chandigarh to Delhi which is about 5 hours long. After reaching Delhi, the tourists are driven to the Airport/ Railway station for the return journey.
