Day 1 – Arrival
Welcome! You have reached the “God’s own country”.
Your holiday begins with your arrival to the Cochin airport. You will be moved to the hotel which is a 60 minute ride from the Airport.
You can rest for the rest of the day or you can take a trip to enjoy the tourist sites in Cochin.
The Dutch and Matancherry palaces, Marine Drive, the Chinese fishing Nets, Synagogue, etc, are some of the beautiful locations.
Day 2 - Munnar to Kochin (150km ride)
Enjoy a great drive from Munnar to Cochin after the breakfast in the morning.
The drive includes zipping through the great landscapes around the foothills of Crdamom hills and lush green carpets of Tea plantantions.
Check into a Hotel in Munnar.
A trekking around the Tea estate is a great way to spend rest of the day. The local estate has several scenic views in the neighbourhood.
Day 3 - Munnar
After breakfast, a trip through the pictursque Munnar that includes Eravikulam National Park.
A walk through the old town of Munnar and Mattupetty dam.
Spend your night at the hotel.
Day 4 - Munnar to Thekkady
Check out of the hotel after the breakfast, you will drive Munnar and reach Thekkady via Periyar. The drive is about three and a half hours. Check into the hotel
Located in the middle of wild life sanctuary the Periyar lake is a renowned wildlife sanctuary that houses endangerd species and endemic vegitation. That’s a well spent afternoon.
After completing the sanctuary tour you will visit an old spice market and other local tourist spots.
Day 5 - Thekkady to Alleppey
After Breakfast, a 170 Km drive frim Thekkaday will bring you to Alleppey backwaters.
You will check into your resort
Alleppey has several tourist sites to visit like KKM bird sanctuary, Venmbanad, Alappuzha Beach etc.
After a long day of sight seeing, you go back to resort
Day 6 – Allappey to Kovalam
After breaking the fast you will drive to Kovalam. This is a beautiful 170 km ride through beautiful country riddled with paddy fields and symmetruically arranged Coconut grooves.
After reaching Kovalam, you will check into your beach resort.
Kovalam has one of the finest beaches in the world. Explore the beaches at your own leisure.
Pull out your sunscreen, spread a mat on the silvery sand and lie down facing the blue waters of Arabian sea.
Day 7 - Kovalam
Its time to do some learning while touring.
Kovalam has one of the most famous Science and Technology museums in the country.
And then we’ll soak in the history of Kerala while browing through the Meuseum in Trivandrum.
A visit to the famous Padmanabha Swamy temple and a stroll through the serenceVeli tourist village in the evening before returning to the Beach resort for overnight stay.
Day-8 – Departure
After breaking the fast, you will be driven back to cochin airport or the railway station for your return journey back to hope. We hope you enjoyed the tour and the schedule.
